Exchange appearance

Ceremonial pitcher at the August 2023 Lions exchange in Tainan

Profile

At the August 2023 Lions exchange in Tainan, Nozomi threw a ceremonial pitch. She recalled nerves on the mound, then the pleasure of reaching the catcher's glove and hearing applause. The visit introduced her to Taiwan's ballpark atmosphere before she formally joined UniGirls.

In 2024 she contrasted Japanese fans' clapping with Taiwanese fans dancing along, sometimes through entire routines. UniGirls number 23 joined the four-MLB-ballpark Taiwan Day tour in 2026 and appeared with Mina in a Taiwanese cooking challenge, alongside her YoungKey Girls basketball work.
