In a February 2025 Formosa TV report, Mingo explained that she enjoyed cheerleading but felt her career options in Korea were limited and had considered changing jobs. An interview with 2S SPOTAINMENT led to a trainer role, followed by work in Taiwan, where she could continue doing what she enjoyed.
She now serves as Wing Stars' performance director, alongside Ahn Ji-hyun in the training team. Her listed dance skills include K-pop and girlish dance. She speaks Chinese and Korean and also lists swimming as a specialty.
